We ate here recently and were very pleased. The bisque was delicious as were our entrees. We were a table of 3 adults, two male teens and one 10 year old boy and we were hungry and tired. We had excellent, quick service. The prices were good and the food was delicious. I would recommend this cafe to travelers staying in the area and hope that you have the same lovely experience we had.
Ordered the speckled trout and got fish that was anything but, if it’s on the menu as speckled trout then that’s what should be served. It is an insult to those who actually know what kind of filets they’re supposed to be getting and the difference…shame on you
Terrible Service x2. I kick myself for trying this place twice! While food is pretty tasty, I find it very disrespectful that my server/bartender sit down at the bar with patrons and ignore my needs! Myself and my guest sat and waited for refills twice as well as watched my food sit in the window as she sat and entertained her guests/friends at the bar… Kudos to the chef or kitchen staff but extremely disrespectful and disregard to customer service
This was a taste sinsation ! Joey pointed us to all the New Orleans delights! Just the best! We will be sure to stop by again on our way back east!
The food is mediocre at best. The management is awful and the service is poor. By far my worst dining experience in a long time. I had an awful batch of crawfish from them and I don’t know if my stomach will ever recover. I hope they do us all a favor and go out of business. Don’t waste your time or money.

Frozen food restaurant. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS ONCE GOOD PLACE? the service is beyond bad and the food is mediocre at best. they need to train staff and hire a real chef.i wont go back there !slidell has too many better restaurants.
