Table for four, Friday night. Sat right down, waited for long time for our meal. Was not worth the wait nor the cost charged.. Very disappointing!!
I enjoyed my 1st experience. However, my 2nd experience will be my last. When we made the reservation for Mother’s Day, we requested and was told our table would be on the lower deck. When we arrived, we were seated inside with no explanation as to the change. A large table stayed available the hour it took to wait on our food. The service was ridiculously slow. We were the first seated in our section, and the other tables who were seated after us were already paying or finishing dessert before we’d even received our main course. Extremely disappointed with the service and will not be returning.Get it together, Palmetto’s.
I’ve eaten here lunch and dinner on several occasions. The crab cakes are amazing. Can’t go wrong with shrimp & grits or the fabulous fried green tomatoes and shrimp roumalade . Always great service and beautiful atmosphere.
Over the top good. I’ve been here a few times for wedding events but never went just for dinner. The food is fantastic. Delicious. Bursting with flavor. Sophisticated flavor. I wish I would’ve come sooner. Very unique atmosphere. The one thing I would suggest is some light outdoor music but I’m very satisfied overall
Good food, terrible service. Waitress seemed irritated. Bar was unwilling to swap a drink that tasted weird. Asked if we could switch sides out, waitress said yes, then when the bill came she had just charged us for extra side instead of swapping. When it was time for dessert she made comment about just drinking the too sweet drink we didn’t like earlier. Like I said, food was decent but I can get good food and good service elsewhere.
The food is always great as well as the service. Ask for Taylor she is the best always happy with a wonderful smile and a great attitude. She also knows the dishes very well.04 Nov, 2014Oh this place is so good and underated hats off to the chef and service
Best in Slidell,La. This is a great place with fabulous food in a relax environment. Somewhat of a Cajun fusion menu, rich and very tasty. The ambiance is set by Oak & Cypress trees fill with Spanish Moss and a deck over swamp with a boardwalk to Bayou Liberty. Reasonably priced. Excellent Sunday brunch. Highly recommend this place!
