OMG. Being a North Carolina native, I am EXTREMELY snobby about bar-b-que. I haven’t had any bbq in New Orleans that has met my standards in the five years I’ve lived here. With rain threatening, and my car window newly shattered (reasons still unknown), my boyfriend & I stopped here to eat after dropping off my car to be repaired. Dear Baby Jesus, thank you for giving the world these wonderful people who created this delicious bar-b-que. Amen. Authentically created sauces, homemade lemonade & tea, perfect cole slaw, and wonderful people. Possibly the best bbq I’ve ever had in my snobby life. My boyfriend agreed that this restaurant is on the list of places to cater our wedding. Seriously. Eat here. Your soul will thank you; after, of course, it’s been revived from the nether regions of the universe from experiencing this delicious food.
