Just an old school poboy joint, today was my first visit since 1984. The place ain’t changed a bit, bruh! Order at the counter, menu is on the wall. I had the hot sausage today, Paton’s sausage patties, very fresh dressings and fresh French bread. Limited seating (6 tables) a good bite for lunch.
This place is legit. Arguably the best po-boys in the Slidell area. You’d be hard put to find a better roast beef po-boy, especially when sided with their fries topped with ‘debris.’ This place is a family owned and operated labor of love.
It was a pretty good poboy with pleny of fried shrimp at a fair price. Would definitely stop here again.
