Napoleon Eggplant with touffe, warm … The stuffing between the eggplant tasted like Pepperidge Farms stuffing. The touffe was sparse in the dish, it’s temperature lukewarm. A person received the wrong salad, but enjoyed it.

Okay so the only thing worth a damn here is the cheap oysters on Wednesday!! The entire menu is overpriced for the extremely poor quality. Everything I have tried on the menu, other than the raw and carbroiled oysters has been completely disgusting. The crab stuffed shrimp were absolutely horrible!! Wait staff, minus a few good ones, completely sucks!! Atmosphere is herendous and full of random crap!! I have been to Speckled T’s many times and will probably go back for the cheap yummy charbroiled oysters and NOTHING ELSE!!
Not happy. Wed.night,karaoke was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. Food was average at best,dishes all came out cold. Would not recommend to anyone.
Testing… Testing… 1 -2- 3… Testing. First let me start by saying the prices have gone up a lot and are more than Copeland’s at this point. The boiled crawfish is $1.50 per pound more than other places in town….. and that would be fine if this was some 5 star restaurant, but the food is just ok. The atmosphere however is AWFUL. This place is so loud you have to scream to each other over your plastic table cloths. We have been unlucky enough to go on multiple occasions around 7pm when the small town bands are setting up. For an hour blasted over the PA system is TESTING…TESTING… 1-2-3… TESTING….over and over again. We literally rolled up napkins and put in our ears it is so loud and I swear that AC/DC could setup a whole show quicker than these piddly bands do. We watched 2-3 tables get up and leave during this time prob for this reason. When the bands do start they have it blasted loud enough to fill the Super Dome….seriously hurts your ears. Anyway, high prices, meh food, and horrible atmosphere. Tried them multiple times since we are local…. NEVER AGAIN.
Worst service ever. I came in from Houston to Slidell to visit with friends and we came here to eat because our friends said the oysters were great. The waitress told us oysters were $.35 apiece, so we ordered 4 dozen, one for each of us. They were so good, I ordered a second for myself. Imagine my surprise when we got the bill, and were charged $14.99/dozen! I complained to the waitress and she got the manager, who refused to adjust the bill. Even after we explained that we wouldn’t have ordered more than two dozen if we had known the actual price, he seemed to think it was our responsibility. He refused to throw us even a bone. I have never seen such poor service in my life, and I served in the restaurant industry for many years.
