Excellent street tacos. And the DUI fries were amazing. Chips were a little weird and they were a little iffy on the knowledge of their beer which seemed odd because the the restaurant name. Service was good though, very happy to help. Not so Gluten-Free friendly, they just don’t have a lot of confident knowledge on their food and there was contamination or unknown Gluten somewhere in my meal.
This is the type of place you go because there’s just no better taco available. You will wait a long time and your server will be tired and maybe annoyed if you require extra pampering. These people don’t stop all day especially Tuesday. Great beer selection and great food. The type of place you want to go with your friends.
We had a pretty good time here and actually sat outside. The waitress was a little off and couldn’t answer questions about the food or drink, but we managed to make it work. The watermelon drink was kind of a joke… I mean… how are you going to drink watermelon seeds? The taco plate for around $6 is the way to go!!! Great stuff. Rated low due to the waitress, but I think it will be better on our next visit.
First let me begin with we love your food…most times. Tonight I ate my Baja fish tacos with zest, and was getting ready to share the DVI potatoes. DISAPPOINTED! Everything was cooked to perfection, however the cheese and fries were melted INTO the styrofoam container, making them inedible. I had forgotten that you do not line your containers so sadly this will be our last time eating with you. The chemicals that are melted to the food is not going into our bodies. My hubby had the burger and that was wrapped in paper so we know you have that available. Thanking you for listening. I ordered through Menu Express and my email address through them is: [email protected] If you need to confirm my order or anything. Again thanksDeborah Houston-Howard
I really dig this place for its Olde Town historical vibe… Food is almost always good… Can be a bit inconsistent at times though. Usually end up with the Big Ass Burrito … It never fails me. Staff is always super friendly and talkative… Make you feel right at home. They have an awesome mural on the wall via local artist Phil Galatas with a Day of the Dead feel to it.. Pretty cool. Taco Tuesday $1 tacos is easy on the pocketbook. God Bless the swing shift workers for dealing with the drunks that roll in from the surrounding bars ( me being one of them sometimes !! Lol).
I ordered 2 chicken enchiladas & one cheese, double order of beans instead of rice. They brought me rice anyway & 3 cheese enchiladas!!! My husband orders extra beans & never got them. But that’s ok. The refried beans are so nasty & watery !!!!!!!!!! At least the margaritas are strong enough to make up for it!!!!! This is 2nd time here that our order was screwed up! We will NEVER COME BACK AGAIN, unless we are so drunk that we HAVE TO EAT SOMETHING !!!!!!! … This sorry place doesn’t even deserve 1.0 rating.
Tacos are outstanding! Fresh tortillas chips and salsa. Yum! You gotta try it! Carnitas taco is excellent. Steak and Al Pastor is good. Corn tortillas, meat, onions and cilantro – very simple but delicious. Lots of drink selection – if you are into that. And Tuesday is Taco Tuesday where tacos are one dollar all day.
