Comfort food/home cooking at reasonable prices. I got the Tex Mex burger – burger topped with chilli, cheese, onions, and bacon – which came with a side salad for $9.60 (including tax). The burger was big enough that I couldn’t finish it, though I am a somewhat light eater. I’m not a huge burger fan, but the burger seemed decent enough; next time I will see if I can just get extra chilli instead of a burger patty.Their croutons are large, light, and hand-made. I also sampled some of their pecans, which are kind of candied/praline-flavored.Worth stopping in and it check in out.

Chicken Salad Like Moma Makes. I just had Lunch at Terry’s!!!! Great Chicken Salad Po-Boy!!! Had all, the good stuff your mom used to trow in!!! Grapes Pecans plenty of celery with a touch of green onion and Garlic…super good! The sweet potato fries were not greasy and were crisp…all in all a great meal. Spoke to the owner as she was out and about talking to regulars and newbies like me! Hey try this place out!!!!

Comfort Food at it’s Best!. Boy oh boy. I hit the jackpot with Terry Lynn’s Cafe. Home cooked meals with plenty of flavor. Nice portions and very reasonable prices. Miss Terry is not afraid to use some butter or bacon to give her dishes a real homestyle flavor. A casual place that anyone can find a menu favorite at. I definitely recommend you try this place. They are mainly a lunch spot, only have dinner service Thursday and Friday nights. But for special Olde Town events they will be open. Come on by and taste!

I used to work construction in Slidell and this was my usual stop for lunch. Where do I start!? The daily lunch specials are excellent! Perfect portion, well priced and you won’t leave hungry! The oven slow-roasted pork on texas toast with coleslaw dressing is to DIE for! Red Beans just like grandma made them. Decadent French Onion soup….I’m drooling! And you must try the Eggplant Strips with house made marinara….perfection, made to order! The staff is friendly, and very knowledgeable on menu items. I always felt right at home! You may have to wait a little longer than you would in a drive thru. But the wait is well worth it! You can’t go wrong at Terry Lynns!!

AWESOME HOME COOKED FOOD!. I cannot say enough about how GREAT the food is here! It is home cooking ALL THE WAY!! I love their smothered cabbage and the grilled pork chops are seasoned perfectly!! This is what great food is all about. It is a small little place with great cooks and staff!! THIS IS A MUST TRY RESTAURANT!! Believe me, once you have gone once you will be back again!
