I always enjoy thailicious. I find the flavors to be a bit milder than I’m used to from other Thai locales which is good for many people. Ingredients seem to be high quality. Staff is pleasant and accommodating. I’ve had fresh spring rolls, Tom kha soup, pad Thai, pad woodsen and recommend them all. Their Thai version on of ‘pho’ is delicious as well.
This place has the best pho in town. My husband craves it! Even our 2 year old granddaughter loves it! Other dishes are great as well.
Delicious food, the lemongrass soup is awesome! I’ve never had a bad dish here.
Best pad Thai
You gotta try it!. What an amazing experience! Never had eaten Thai food before… until now. Not only was the food simply delicious, but the hospitality was out of this world! After learning of our inexperience, our server Gretchen went above and beyond to explain the dishes to us. Her suggestions were spot on. Kathy’s (chef and owner) visit to our table topped off our visit. These folks know how to treat their diners. Great food, wondeful atmoshere, fantastic service! What more could you ask for? Oh, and before I forget… the place is CLEAN! Make sure you get the Sticky Rice for dessert. You will be happy you did. This place is A++++ ! ! !
Ms. Kathy does all of the cooking! My kids adore her fried rice. It has a secret ingredient that makes it better than any fried rice we’ve had! We also love the rad me na grob, the pad woodsen, and the tom kar gai! We appreciate the personal attention Ms Kathy gives to her customers! We love thailicious!!
Boyfriend and I were driving around Slidell running errands and we just wanted to find someplace to eat without it being another chain restaurant. Boyfriend spotted this leaving northshore blvd and immediately tried to turn around. He was curious about the name and is a big fan of Thai food in general so I just went along with it (Im indifferent towards thai food, myself). Walking in, the setup is nice and intimate. We both just ordered what sounded good and safe (#22 and #32 i think) and picked beef and chicken, respectively. Let me just say, it was love at first bite. And i didnt care what i ordered because like i said, im not a huge fan of thai to begin with but hey, gotta try something. But the both the dishes were phenomenal. We were constantly switching the dishes back and forth between us because we couldnt get enough. Not only did we finish every last drop (literally. Boyfriend even mixed a spoonful of the curry with the stirfry sauce to get a bigger spoonful), but we ordered the mango sticky rice, suggested by the waitress. We thought wed be too full for dessert, but that dessert makes you find room in your stomach. At the end of the meal, we were quite full but didn’t feel queasy. Perfect atmosphere, perfect food, and the price isnt at all bad. We’re definitely coming back next time we’re in town.
