Worst boiled crawfish ever. On Monday (05/19/14) I ordered 1 dozen boiled crabs and 5#’s of boiled crawfish to go. The boiled crabs were good but the boiled crawfish were non-edible at best. The crawfish tasted and peeled like they were 2 to 3 days old. I would be embarrassed to sell these.

Boiling Putrid. The worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. We ate the buffet and it was horrible. The boiled shrimp were slimy, fried shrimp were cooked in burnt grease and since my daughter will not eat after other people, she ordered a stuffed crab. It was so greasy and tasted worse than the shrimp. My wife ate 1 shrimp and I barely got 6 down. The rice and gumbo was ok, at best. Now, the lot was full and everyone inside was eating crawfish, maybe that was good? I haven’t and won’t go back and try again. LeBleu’s or Steamboats for seafood. $60 lesson!! and we stopped at Popeye’s to get food we could actually eat

First and LAST time to eat here. Waited too long for food due to large party in the back. When it was served the French fries were cold, the gravy for the chicken fried steak was cold, the potato was lukewarm and not completely baked. The butter and cheese wouldn’t even melt. The fried shrimp were warm but not hot. The only thing hot was the chicken fried steak that looked like you would pull out of the frozen food section of the grocery store. When we paid the cashier asked how everthing was When I responded not good she seemed totally indifferent to my issues with the quality of the food.

Crawfish boiled and spicy. Crawfish has a little bite, but that is why beer was invented.Worth the short drive over the bridge.

Great Experience. We were visiting our son in Lake Charles and decided to drive over and try out this restaurant. It turned out to be a great idea. We were extremely pleased with the food and the service. I would recommend Boiling Point to anyone wanting a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I know we will go back on our next visit.
