We have been here many times and it is a place I would bring family and friends to and that we will return to many times. The atmosphere is very nice. The food is great, very well cooked and very tasty. The buffet is very nice, great choices, and very reasonably priced. The only drawback is that if you order off the menu make sure that you have plenty of time to wait. One time it actually took an hour to get our food. The food was great, the service excellent, just don’t be in a hurry.
Apparently it’s not that uncommon for them to serve raw seafood. We got there last night around 8:30 and didn’t get our food until 9:25. There were two tables next to my party of 5 that got their food before us. My crawfish fettuccine was dry with several chunks of glued pasta, my boyfriend’s fried crawfish wasn’t cooked all the way, both my parents had semi cooked oysters, and dad let me try a frog leg. Little did he know it wasn’t cooked. I ate raw frog. Ended up throwing up twice while we were there. The manager actually told us that she would walk away and we could pay for the whole ticket if I didn’t calm down. I didn’t raise my voice, but I’m not sorry that I’m upset I was served and actually unknowingly ATE RAW FROG!! I’ve never been there before and I definitely won’t ever be back! Thinking about heading to the hospital. I’m sore all over and still feel like I’m about to throw up and it’s been 15 hours!!
