Locals eat here. I like to eat lunch here when I come to Sulphur. Nothing fancy, just good authentic food and quick service. I like to go to local, non-chain places whenever possible to sample the local flavors. Definitely recommend. This visit I had Angel Oysters and Seafood gumbo.
I like this place.. I’ve ordered their fried shrimp/fish dinners quite a few times. It’s consistently great, and I daresay the best fried shrimp in Sulphur and most of Lake Charles. Staff is friendly too.
The Shrimp Poboy was terrible.I asked for lettuce on the side,And it was brown.I won’t be going back here ever.I think I’ll stick to sausage link.
Perfectly Cooked Seafood. We have been eating at Richard’s for years and have not once gotten an order that wasn’t cooked to perfection. The fried seafood is always fresh and never over fried. If you like fried oysters you have to try their amazing bacon-wrapped Angel Oysters appetizer. You get six big oysters in an order and there are times when I just order those and a baked potato for dinner. The Large Fish & Shrimp dinners are also very worth trying. I promise that you will be full when you walk out of there.

Y dad and I eat there at least once a week. Service A+. Food A- If you want fried shrimp go to Richards it’s the best in the parish by far I love their appetizers and the fried shrimp salad love it!!!
The food was great ..the service was friendly an really awesome..if I would recomend a seafood restraunt..it would definetly be Richard’s Boudin & Seafood
