Great food! Great service! Everything on the menu is good & good every time. Nice to have such an authentic Mexican restaurant so close to home.
Genuine Mexican Food. The food will set you back roughly $10, give or take a couple of bucks, per person. It is well worth it. You won’t find better Mexican food in this area. The fajitas, bean & bacon soup, and queso dip are all amazing. Oh, and the guacamole is a must have. They also make their own horchata which is pretty good.
Stuffed Avocado. Extremely delicious and always cooked to perfection!
As Good as it Gets. I, for one, am glad that Rosita’s is where’s it at because its location guarantees good food. The building isn’t much to look at, my college dorm room had better decorations, and the bathroom was small. BUT the food was delicious and that’s what will bring me back here. I absolutely devoured a chimichanga and would have asked for another. BTW it’s worth mentioning they served to me a Coca-Cola that tasted as good as it gets.
Run of the mill enchaladas. I eat Mexican almost every week. Live in Lake Charles, but lived in the Tex-Mex capital San Antonio, TX and have eaten Mexican everywhere in between.I almost always eat chicken enchaladas, and this is what I ordered at Rosita’s. Wouldn’t drive across the bridge for what I got. Meat was chunky, not much flavor, and too salty as was their green salsa. The sauce on the enchaladas was the everyday ranchero.Service was ok, checked on me twice and kept tea glass full. Plenty of chips and salsa for one person. To repeat, this review is based on one entree. But, in contrast to the very positive reviews here, I found nothing about my experience that you can’t find in any typical Mexican Restaurant..
My favorite Mexican. This is my family’s choice when Mexican is the choice. my favorite is the steak soft taco with cilantro lime and onions.
