Lucky to have found this place. On old Hwy. 90 and a bit of a drive from I-10 but well worth it. Very laid back, family friendly, self serve (order at the window). The food is great. I had fried oysters with baked potato and salad. Oysters were excellent. I see lots of stuff on the menu I want to try. Will be back soon. The reviews tell me to try the shrimp poboy and the boudin. Can’t wait!

Great Cajun food. Best boudin in the Lake Area. Fantastic fresh meat market as well.

Worth the 5 minute detour from I-10! We took the first reviewers advice and went with the shrimp po boy. Good call. My husband considers himself a poboy aficionado and he was impressed.

Absolutely love the shrimp po-boy. One of the best I’ve had!

AAAAHHHHmazzing. I was first introduced to The Sausage Link last year on my first venture to Louisiana. My friend took me there because he was convinced they had the best shrimp po’boys and boudain balls…and OMG, was he right….i fell in love with the po’boy immediately. Now everytime i com to beaumont or Louisiana, this is my first and last place i eat…i even had some packed and frozen for the trip back home to corpus christi.
