The crispy garlic shrimp was excellent. Meal comes with soup salad and fried wontons. Hot and sour soup is delicious. Tea is refreshing and tasty. Our waitor was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Outside atmosphere is very romantic with a cute fountain and music. Overall best Chinese joint in the Hammond area. Will be going back soon.
Jan 31, 2015 Great Food!. After reading all of the good reviews, we decided to give this place a try. The food was excellent! The only downside was the uncomfortableness of the restaurant. The chairs were hard and old. And either the door was open or the AC was cranked, because I actually had to get up and put my jacket back on. We will definitely be back and hopefully the weather will be warmer… both inside and out.
Our new favorite spot!. This little spot is great! Delicious, fresh food, made to order. Wait staff is super friendly, accommodating and fast. Everything seemed to come out at the right times; no periods of starvation or piles of entree plates coming out on top of appetizers. The prices are also very good; not cheap (because, trust me, you want to avoid cheap sushi), but not outrageous. My husband and I had leftovers after a $50 tab. The raw fish was very fresh and tasted amazing! Just enough rice with the sushi and rolls. We will definitely be back! Watch out, Kirin and Nagoya!
Excellent food!. Ate there 10/11/2014. Delicious sushi. A batter fried red snapper in a sweet and sour sauce was a 10 out of 10! Even the iced tea was great. Very very inexpensive. Open 7 days a week lunch and dinner. I never write restaurant reviews, but this one certainly warrented it! Highly recommend it.
Awesome food, great price!. We love mr. Joes sushi!!!! We had an amazing dinner with more food then we could even eat! The service was awesome and the prices were even better! Everyone there was so kind and attentive, they even made us a special roll off the menu. The best part is when you go to walk out there is a dessert display with lots of yummy choices we got tiramisu 🙂 we will definitely be returning!
Food is way over priced!!!. Food tasted like everything was microwaved!!! On top of that me and my husband spent well over 80 bucks just for the two of us for dinner! So over priced and disappointing at the same time. Will never be back.
