Terrible, Will not be back.. Use to go there every year for my birthday while up in Robert at Yogi Bear Campground. Use to love it. Haven’t been in over 5 yrs. Went this past week and it was horrible. The fried shrimp tasted like frozen box shrimp, the mac and cheese was watery, the french fries were battered and dried up, the crawfish were spicy and salty but not really favorful. Even my husband said most things tasted terrible. The only thing good on the buffet were the ribs and the fried corn fritters. After spending $64 (including tip), felt ripped off. Will never go back. Feel cheated for my birthday dinner so we are going out somewhere else.
Ate here for the first time yesterday, and will definately be back. We had the buffet which would be hard to beat anywhere. Really great food, and a comfortable family atmosphere. It’s true, one bite and they got us!
🙂 !!!. Let me start off by saying I WORK THERE! The food is amazing and if you are a meat eater i suggest you try our steaks! Next, yes you will wait if you come during lent. Its our busiest time of the year. I apologize if it takes us a while to clear your table, see we do feed close to 800 guests some nights during lent. We value our guests and if you were unhappy with your visit Im sorry you should come back and try us again! 🙂 THANK YOU!
Best seafood AROUND. I read all of the reviews, and decided to try it myself. Let me start by saying I don’t know where you all ate, but that was the best seafood me and my family has ever eaten!! The food was seasoned just right. some of the crabs were mushy, but true seafood lovers know that is to be expected. The price was kinda high, but take into consideration the price of seafood. Had anyone priced snowcrabs latey, if so then you know this is a bargain( snowcrab=$8.99lb if you can find them). I personally don’t know how they stay in bussines. if you want to tickle you tastebuds try White’s!
We did not order off the menu, but the buffet was consistently bad. Everything was overcooked and bland. The boiled seafood was low quality and the meat inside was mushy. It baffles me that the locals were piling into this filthy place and then waiting in a long line to serve themselves terrible food, stuff their faces and then stare at their dirty plates because the waitstaff never removed them.
Food is always cold. Very bland. Not worth the money.
