You can get some authentic Cajun food here, but it won’t be very good. The menu is vast and has non-traditional dishes as well, and those are horrendous. Way overpriced based on the quality. Keep your money in your pocket or go elsewhere.
Service was below average, although bus boy was helpful. He refilled our drinks a couple times. Food was horrible. We both had pasta dishes and were very unsatisfied. We had all of 5 bites each.
I ordered the shrimp and mushroom pasta, it tasted rotten. My waitress took it back and brought me oyster platter 11 oysters for $17. My girlfriend ordered soup and house salad $12 for a very small cup of soup and a house salad with no extra toppings. Definetly not worth the price.
Good Corned Beef. We usually get the Corned Beef PoBoys and Cajun fries. I never thought that the place that I would want to go for a Corned Beef sandwich would be in Thibodaux, LA. It can be a little pricey and if you want to take a family of four into this little place and order seafood, be prepared to pay top dollar! The atmosphere is nice and the music they play is good. The menu they offer is quite extensive. I would recommend this place.
Greasy and unappetizing. We tried this place again after a lengthy hiatus. The last time the food and service was poor, and this time was consistent with the last. The fried foods appeared to have been fried in old oil. The bread was hard. The service was slow and non-responsive. Based on the quality of food and service we received, Bubbas II is overpriced and we will avoid it in the future.
Bar Food, Bayou Style. Bubba’s was my first stop to eat after seven years away from Thibodaux, and it didn’t disappoint. My dining companion and I shared crawfish and several other smaller entrees. The place was lively, the service friendly, and the food was very good. This isn’t haute cuisine; it’s seafood, and good seafood at that.
