Lots of variety, homey, friendly people, popular with tourists,This is a road food sort of place. The best Louisiana quisine is in the better restaurants. Go down the street to Rob’s Donut shop for best ben-yays in Louisiana.
My wife and I got the seafood platter, soft drinks and one of Bubba’s special dessert that really was a fitting end for an afternoon meal.
Excellent gumbo and po’boys! Crawfish were delicious! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is well worth it!
Shrimp PoBoy was Great, Thin Fish PoBoy was Great, Onion Rings were Great, and Seafood Gumbo, made by Peggy, was TOP NOTCH.Real PoBoy bread which makes a difference. Huge servings, with the shrimp pouring out of the poboy bun.
A new family lunch favorite! We’ve stopped in 2 years in a row before dropping our son off for the MPA Football Camp. Wonderful food, wonderful staff, wonderful environment!
