The seafood Napoleon was the signature dish it was the best dish I think I have ever had it has layers of seafood in between egg plant medallions infused with cream sauce and tomato sauce in a yin yang tower of heaven. They removed the Dish as signature but it is still offered but it is now mostly stuffing very little seafood left in it. I can understand that seafood is getting more expensive but don’t mess with perfection

Deliciously Fresh. I was brought here on a job recruiting visit. As a table we shared three appetizers, the mussels, scallops and the shrimp spring rolls. You don’t find mussels that fresh and scallops that large very often. All three had excellent flavor and were not too heavy. I had the crawfish tortellini carbonara. The sauce reduction was perfectly done and was not too thick or heavy, the crawfish was cooked perfectly, fresh and large. Finally we split two of the deserts, one was a chocolate cake and the other a banana type desert. They were both delicious but not enjoyed as by this time I was in a food houma. For the quality of food and the culinary skill, I think this is probably the best value in Thibodaux I have found so far. Yes, the food is expensive, but you get much more than you pay for, especially considering some of the restaurants around here.
Wonderful place for a special occasion…. We have been to Fremins two times. Once for a business dinner with my husbands work and the second time for an anniversary. The food is absolutely delicious! The service is fine, but a big party came in after us and slowed our waitress down. My husband started off with Shrimp and Grits and they were the best I have ever tasted. I had the Scallops, they were okay, but I only got two and that was $12. Next time I will have the Shrimp and Grits. My husband had the Steak and I had Seafood Napolean. Both entrees were exceptional. This place is fine dining and very pricey, but we will definately go back! I love this place!

Fantastic food! Great sevice! I will be back. I had the Fremins steak and crabcake with lump crab meat and bernaisse sauce. I love the atmosphere too. Live music….I can’t believe I’m in Thibodaux.
Great food. Very nice atmosphere. The steak wa great and the crawfish with tortellini and the seafood platter is huge
