Very tiny portions and very slow service. Food wasn’t bad but it was like a child’s size portion, so don’t come too hungry. Took Over 2 hours to eat supper and wasn’t busy at all.
I would like to know who hired the new manager over there? Hopefully he won’t be there long because his ego is terrible! He needs some serious training and his mother needs to teach him a thing or two about how to treat people.Due to his attitude, we won’t be going back.
It is just ok! Nothing great.
So good. Had lunch with my son & his girlfriend on Friday, July 20. I had the strawberry chicken salad, fried catfish po boy & pulled pork po boy was ordered. The food and the service was good. I enjoyed it and will try it for dinner next time.
OMG Fried Pickles LIKE YOU’VE NEVER HAD THEM. These are no ordinary FRIED PICKLES. Not silly dill chips. They fry dill SPEARS!!!! They are so amazingly delicious it is worth risking the mediocre service, startlingly long wait-times for your food, the blah menu and no real drink specials just for that delicious perfect plate of FRIED PICKLE SPEARS.That being said, their salads are pretty good. The first time we went I got their one salad with the strawberries and the tuna, it was delicious and filling. The next time, I got their chicken ceasar wrap and it was awful, half of it was burnt to the point it tasted like hashish (marijuana) and the other half was bland. Their homemade chips were boring. And I’m pretty sure their shrimp soup was a few days old. And all of it takes at least three times as long as you think it should to get to your table, so bring a book. However, NONE of that should deter you from coming to this place to enjoy that AWE-INSPIRING, MOUTH-WATERING moment of HIGH CULINARY DRAMA when they bring that tower of FRIED PICKLE SPEARS to your table for the very first time.
We had the opposite experience!! The dinner that we had before the band was wonderful!! The service that night was some of the friendliest we ever had. Yes the bars were busy but that is to be expected anywhere on new years eve. The only bar that had one bartender was the sports bar upstairs and that seem to be at shift change. The band was great!! We had a great time!!!
Poor Management. We purchased advanced tickets for New Years Eve at The Foundry. There are three bars withing the building and all were grossly understaffed. We waited over 15 minutes for someone at the bar to even acknowledge we were standing there! One of the staff apologized saying they were short handed. Duh! it’s New Years Eve why wouldn’t management plan for that? We ended up having one drink all night because we couldn’t get any bar service. The woman behind the bar didn’t even know that the brand of liquor we requested was rum. Shame on management for their incompetence. Most of the patrons were complaining about the service. I would imagine they lost out on a lot of money not being able to serve the people drinks in a timely manner, if at all. Two of the bars had only one bartender each. I would NOT recommend a night out at this place. The service is terrible. I won’t be going back to the Foundry. I’ll spend my money at a more professional establishment.
