User reviews. I really don’t care for the buffet here because the pizza on it tastes old and dry. However, if you order a fresh pizza, even a plain ole’ inexpensive one-topping party pizza, you will not be dissappointed. I love Johnny’s Pizza, because with almost all other pizzas you will fill up on the bread. Johnny’s is thin and that’s how I like it. To me, pizza should be about the cheese, sauce, and toppings, not about nawing on bread. We frequent this location because of their outstanding salad bar – BEST salad you will EVER eat! Most of the time, we will order a party pizza and get a salad bar and hardly will be able to touch our pizza! The salad is just that good!

I like it, but it’s just pizza . . .. . . . and it’s fine pizza, but it’s not special. I’ve had better; I’ve had worse. If you’re trying it for the first time, and you’ve never heard of it, you’ll think it’s just fine. But if you’re trying it for the first time and you’re trying it because somebody from M/WM recommended it, you’ll probably be disappointed – it just can’t live up to that kind of hype. It’s different than Papa John’s, but they are fairly similar in quality – good but not spectacular.
The absolute very best pizza made. Offers Sr discount. Mon – Fri check the buffet! What a bargain. People that move away always return for the Great Taste of Johnnys.
Best pizza on the planet….bar none. Sweep Tha Kitchen or Hog Heaven….literally the first words I taught my children!
No review needed. Those from the Monroe / West Monroe area (and Shreveport / Bossier, as well, for that matter) know there’s no need for a review of Johnny’s Pizza. If you’re from M / WM and haven’t eaten there, you must have been born in the area, then shortly after (within the next few minutes) been swept away by some cruel individual, who knowingly or not has kept the Manna that is Johnny’s out of your gustatory experiences. (How’s that for a sentence?) You can’t go wrong with a Sweep the Kitchen, Sweep the Swamp / Kajun Pizza (my favorite, even though they need to drop the Kajun Pizza title and stick with the Sweep the Swamp) (except for the price on those two – though it’s worth it every once in a a while), or my favorite non-Sweep – Sausage and onion. Mmm mmm good.
