This place is my favorite. All of the food is authentic and super fresh. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly as well. They have a great selection of a variety of dishes. I love getting the ropa vieja! Oh, and can’t forget about their amazing chicken noodle soup! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
My family and I have been going to Habana for a while now… And we LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Get the pollo Barbacoa… DELICIOUS, this comes with 2 sides for a reasonable price. Great place with great food
I was so glad to try this place for the first time, I had the Parrilada Habanera. It has pork, beef, and chicken. I thought it would be a good way to sample all three. It was marinated to perfection with nice rich Cuban flavor. They were cut thin and seared on the grill. Maybe a little dry but tastes wonderful. It also came with black beans. I’m not a big fan of beans, but this black bean dish was amazing! I totally will go back. However, the service was kinda slow for an evening that wasn’t busy by any means. I hope it gets better because I want to try more of the food.
Ropa Vieja. With manduritos (fried sweet plantains) and mixed veggies
Years have gone by . . .. This placed started on Verot School Road years ago. Never once had a bad meal. Really like the tilapia lemon. Can’t go wrong with a side of black beans and rice or fried plantains. Their version of the classic Mojito is as good as it gets. Usually a cup of chicken soup is offered, get it, it’s got a Latin twist. Dessert? Never tried it, too full.
Pleasantly surprised! The food was really tasty the appetizer sampler was pricey but good. Of course the mojito was great.
Cool place. I recently tried Cafe Habana City and it was awesome! The restaurant did not have many customers so I was kinda anxious but it was awesome. The waiter and our waitress working that night were very attentive and polite, but not breathing down your neck- they made the experience even better. I tried the seafood plate I and tasted someone’s cuban sandwich- both great. The atmosphere is also very nice. I definitely will be returning to this awesome place.
