Great Food and Value. Brought the family in for my second visit. The service was fast and friendly, plus the food was generous and of a high quality. It looks like a chain or franchise operation, not that it really matters, but apparently this is a local place. This is easily the best deli in Maine. To top it off, the prices are reasonable… $18 for three to eat lunch.
Soggy. I am from Long Island New York and grew up with Delis all around me, the only thing about this place that is like a Brooklyn deli is the somewhat curt and unfriendly customer service. I had the chicken salad and the bread was soggy, it was pretty standard, it was really a disappointment, it looks nice from the outside.

Too expensive. I thought it was OK but by the time I paid for my sandwich, drink and a cookie it was liek $13,45 with tax, can’t go out very often at that price…
My 1st visit to Heidi’s…. Upon walking in, it resemble a chain deli. Which it is and was fine, I was not there for the scenery. Approach right away but a young girl…to take my order. I scanned the menu and it all looked great! I opted to order the Country Dijon Egg Salad on White. You can’t really mess up egg salad so I thought this was a great choice. Low and behold it was one of the best egg salad sandwhiches I’ve ever had, the bread was amazing. I also ordered the Awesome Steak and Cheese (my boyfriend and I share) We were both Very disappointed in the steak and cheese, we’ve gotten used to the grease-laden ones at the pizza places and D’Angelo’s. So, If your looking for that…do not order the Steak and Cheese. It tasted more like a french dip sandwhich with Chees. For sides we got pickles, potato salad, and coleslaw. The coleslaw was great, pickles good also….but WTH did they put in that potato salad??? All in all, I would return. Try something new next time. The have soups, wraps, salad and oh ya…the cannoli’s are to die for!

One sandwich feeds two Average appetites. Hells kitchen is a great sandwich.
