Extraordinary! From beginning to end. The hostess are delightful. The waitress was knowledgable & fun. The atmosphere is so classy & comfortable. The music & acoustics perfect. The menu has something for everyone. And the food …from the crab cakes to the sirlon to the outrageous carrot cake…perfection. and the meals include a perfect Caesar salad. Wow
Best Food in years. Two friends and I went to 11 Central during the recent blizzard in Bangor. It has a small lovely and friendly dining room. Our waiter couldn’t have been more attentive, describing various foods and reasuring me that scallops would be no where near the Lobster Alfreido I was going to order. My friends ordered lobster stew which they found delicious and I had the Lobster Alfreido. The pasta in the Alfreido was fresh!, made locally, the Lobster was Maine Lobster, and there was a large amount. The sauce was heavenly. It was clearly the best entre I have had in years. Everything was made individually for each order. Even the salt was pecial. Sea salt from China with a musky flavor. The desserts were also amazing! I can’t say enough good thing about the expereince there.
