We travel to Bangor 5 or 6 times a year and are always trying new restaurants, trying to find hidden gems. The only place we eat every visit is Angelos. The prices are just insane. TWO large pepperoni pizzas for $17.99 (just went up in price this year, was $16.99). It is very family friendly. I don’t think their was an item on the children’s menu that was over $2, and they are big portions. I don’t even know how they make money with these prices. Pepperoni pizzas and the steak bombs are our go to’s here, both are simply amazing. Everything we’ve had is good, but we just love these so much. I can not say enough great things about this place. And let’s not forget, it is basically in Stephen King’s backyard. Definitely frequented by the police. We see some there each time, so you know its good food and good prices.
Expect Room Temp for East Side Delivery. Expect your food to be room temperature if you order delivery to the East side of Bangor. The manager on duty admitted that is to be expected when I called after receiving our delivery – in fact, he seemed very defensive in response to my complaint.
Best pizza in bangor as far as delivery places. Best cheese steak sandwich in maine, hands down.
Angelo’s is awesome. It is the best pizza in Bangor and the prices are unbelievable. We eat there frequently and have never had a bad experience. By far the best value in town. You can easily feed a family of four for under $20. And it’s good food!
Cold Food, Always Late. I’ve tried to give this company a chance over and over again. Its the same story every time. My food is always late, cold by the time it reaches the door. Any attempt to complain is met with hostility and excuses. I’m soo tired of this runaround. Just one time I’d like to order food and get food without the hassle and excuses. Its like dealing with Peggy from the Discover Card commercials.If I wanted cold food that I have to reheat, I’D BUY A FROZEN PIZZA!!! Clearly my business is not welcome and I will never waste another breath fighting with them to make them money.

Mangia!!. I’m originally from New Jersey, and if there is one thing I’ve learned about pizza its that there are as many opinions about pizza as there people who eat it! I stumbled onto Angelo’s in Bangor a few years ago through a friend of mine who worked at the Bangor PD. He told me that the PD and Fire Department frequently patronized Angelo’s and insisted I try some of their plain cheese pizza. I was very pleasantly surprised. I’ve since tried more of their menu and while everything is good, I highly recommend the Steak Bomb as well as any pizza they make. They are family friendly with great standing specials that are easy on the wallet. The pizza can be a little greasy, depending on your toppings, but I prefer it to the drier, more eclectic New York style pizzas that can be had in the area. All in all, a great pizza joint!
