Awesome! Best sushi anywhere! Can’t wait to go back, and I’m from Boston!

Excellent!11 Feb, 2011We go just about every weekend. We love it. The staff is polite and very friendly. The chef is friendly and conscious of customers waiting and gives out free appetizers if he feels you are waiting too long. Yoshi’s is our favorite place to eat hands down!!!!

We’re regulars. For wife and daughters, who are real fans of Japanese food (including sushi), Ichiban is often the first choice for dining out. And even I (less of a fan; and just not into raw fish) readily go along, for the food here is reliably well-prepared, tasty, and reasonably priced. Functional location and decoration, but always friendly reception and farewell.

Fair enough. Ichiban is good for where it is, but compared to other Japanese restaurants it’s certainly not the best. That said, you definitely won’t have a bad meal here, and it’s worth going to if you’re in Bangor and craving Japanese, but it’s just nothing that really stands out.

Enjoyable. I always enjoy dining here for high quality Sushi and great Japanese entrees. The atmosphere is fine for couples, familes or friends dinig out. You can also sit at the sushi bar while the chef prepares sushi in front of you. Overall goodchoice if you enjoy this type of food or are looking to try something new.
