Shrimp Scampi so bad I had to write about it. Also the fact that they don’t even know what kind of pasta they are using, it was for certain not linguini. I am no food expert and I know that much. It was under seasoned and the shrimp was over cooked. First warning sign should have been the buy one get one half off. That is never a sign of a fresh well crafted meal. Sounds more like a way to get rid of food. Which makes sense, considering that food tasted like no one tried it or cared how it came out. Will not be eating there again. I will stick with Paddy Murphys from here on out. Ipanemas is not worth the gamble. Maybe someone else will have better luck there.
Average Bar & Grill. Tried it for the first time tonight. They wouldn’t make us a Scorpion Bowl as it has too much liquor in it. This is a first.. Must have parties of 3 or more to order one..? Mixed drinks are expensive $6+ and average. Beer prieces are good though. Service from waitress was average, but kitchen failed. It took OVER and hour for food to arrive, 2 wraps. Waitress apologized and gave us discount coupons, which expire in 3 weeks, as compensation. Food was good, but no wow effect. The wraps were $8 and $10, but extra $1 to upgrade to sweet potatoes fries. I just wish it was worth the upgrade, as the regular fries tasted better. The coupons are in the trash now as there are much better places to spend my money.
EXCELLENT!!. Tucked away in downtown Bangor! New Chef with brand new Caribbean Menu. Had the Cubano Sanwich (thinly sliced pork tenderloin mixed in with juicy ham and swiss), was delicious and had enough left over for lunch next day. Wife had Picadillo entree (rice surrounded by a beef/potatoe/vegatable medley) which she absolutely loved. One of our favorite places to eat now!
Great!. This place is fantastic! We came here a few months ago and the food was mediocre at best. Upon our second visit, our server informed us that the kitchen was now under the supervision of a new Chef, and boy has it all changed! The Rat Toes (yes, the name is crazy but they’re crazy good!) are out of this world! And the pulled pork? To die for. We’ve been back at least once a week since the new Chef has taken over and we’re quickly becoming regulars!
Service. Their service is sketchy at best. Sometimes your server is amazing, other times he forgets to put your order in, and lets you sit hungry for over an hour. The servers can be very pleasant, or totally disgruntled. The food is usually good, but the service always makes me think of hitting a place around the corner instead.
Amazing service and burgers A+++. Have been to this place 4 or 5 times now and have never had a problem with food or service, it has always been excellent. I am writing this because tonight we had the best service ever from Alexia. Amazing service….amazing food. Thank you to Alexia for providing the best service out there. A++++++++ This is a place you must visit.
Try it!!!. Food you wont get anywhere around here – or Maine for that matter. Unique and flavorful dishes, in a casual setting, also unique – colorful, clean, fresh. Staff is great too!
