Good food, enthusiastic server. My husband and I ate here when we got off the plane. It was pretty easy to find, the food was tasty, and our server was really great. Definite 2 thumbs up.
I really enjoyed my night here. Good food good brews, and the staff was friendly and vibrant. Will definitely be back again very soon
Be prepared to wait…. I don’t understand how the waiting can be so long when the establishment was pretty much EMPTY.
Bring back the old spinach dip. The only menu item I ever liked was their spinach dip in a bread bowl. But they changed it and it’s no longer served that way. Fun place to go for drinks (can get crazy crowded on fri/sat nights) and the staff isn’t overly friendly (seems a lot have the bartenders are God syndrome) … unfortunate because the location is great
This should be a really great restaurant. Why? Wonderful website, good and imaginative menu and good brewery attached in a great converted mill ambience. Unfortunately it was a disaster. Endless wait for drinks followed.by 45 minute wait for food. Appetizers came along with main courses. Lasagna was indifferent and clearly microwaved. Stouffers is better. Really. Very ordinary clam roll, which was lukewarm, obviously have sat at the pass forever. Hardly saw our waitress at all. In fairness, one of us had chili with a ginger slaw appetizers and said they were very good. On the whole though this was so disappointing, it was so promising and we had been to a sister establishment in Kennebunkport which is excellent, so we were set up to love it. But we didn’t. Can’t recommend it at all, sadly. (I must say this review relates to the Bath location not Bangor.)
40 minute wait for entrees. Lukewarm clam roll. Microwaved lasagne. Chili and slaw were excellent. Light ale not to my taste but others in our party liked the beer. Captain Jack in Kennebunkport is great; what’s up with this place?
Ordered the blackened salmon salad off the specials menu and cleaned my plate! My summer ale was not nearly as good…in fact I wanted to poor it out. Hubby ordered a steak and artichoke salad which he liked. He did say the steak was just ok. His beers–sunfish wheat and blueberry–were outstanding! We’d definitely return!
