Great food and lots of it! This is a fun place with lots of loud country music (and line dancing every hour) and fresh bread baked every 5 minutes. The ribs are 10 out of 10

Gluten-free: I love this restaurant!. Texas Roadhouse has a nice gluten-free menu; just ask your waiter/waitress for one. There’s lots on it to choose from–and while your non-gluten-free companions dine on the rolls before the meal, there are plenty of peanuts to munch on. Peanut shells on the floor, too, so those with peanut allergies may want to avoid eating here due to peanut dust. But the peanuts, for those of us who like them, are really good! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The waiters/waitresses are really attentive, too. My family isn’t into county music, but we had a good time here and shared a great meal! Highly recommended!

Too Loud!. Music is way too loud, but the food is usually excellent, with the exception of the steaks. Servers are nice, but seem to focus more on talking in the back instead of greeting right away. Over all, not bad.

MSG overload. I do like a few things on the menu, but i get headaches from to much MSG and I always end up with one eating at this place. They must put MSG in everything!

Awesome food and great service along with the music and line dancing waitresses, you can’t go wrong!

Best of the three.. Bangor has three chain steakhouses– Bugaboo, Longhorn and the Roadhouse. I would choose TR any day, despite the blaring loud music, the peanut dust and the insane wait times? Why? Because the food is consistently good, the wait staff is attentive and I think they’re the best value for what you get– Example? You don’t have to pay extra for more ‘premium’ sides, so the 9.99 chicken fried steak stays that same price if you get a salad and a cup of chili. At some other places, you have to ‘pay up’ for these things. Also, their filet, a typically expensive cut, is the cheapest of the three…. AND IT’S GOOD! I’ll continue to come back to Texas Roadhouse.

Good Food/ Noisy Atmosphere. This place is always busy…they don’t take reservations but you can do call ahead and it will save you a little bit of time waiting in line. The food is quite good, basic steakhouse fare. As others have mentioned, very noisy atmosphere with the music and wait staff do some line dancing occassionally. Not a bad restaurant if you are with a group and the noise is not an issue. Have had very friendly and attentive servers.
