Could be better. The pizza is usually on point and has been fairly consistent over the years. The subs are a hit or miss and it really just comes down to who makes them. Like another person wrote the meatball subs are disgusting. Not exactly a broad menu here so in my opinion the quality and attention to detail should be better. Like I said the pizza you cant go wrong with but I’m not giving it high praise because TCP lacks any real compitition in the area.
Terrible sub. I just ate the worst meatball sub I’ve ever eaten in over 15ys Here!!!!! It had terrible bitter tomato sauce, and the whole sub had been microwaved, to the point where it was very very rubbery and could not be chewed! Total waste of money. my 2 yr old son could make a better sub. Not a place to order hot subs. I will say their pizza isn’t not the best around, but not bad.
Not even third rate. The rest of my family likes Tri-city’s pizza but I think it’s the flat out the worst in town. I’ve been there on and off again for 40 years so it’s not just a fluke. Last time I got a sandwich there (and it will be the last time) I ordered a hot pastrami. Microwaved instead of baked (they have a pizza oven?) the roll was just mush. I’ll bet the pastrami was nuked too. In my opinion just not edible. On a positive note they have one the best selection of single beers in town, but unless you drink Bud don’t expect to buy a six pack.
Best in Bangor. Tri-City has the best pizza in Bangor and the surrounding area, hands down. Their staff is always friendly and give quick service. The only downside is that there can be long wait times Friday – Sunday (usually around 35 or 40 minutes) and they don’t deliver.
What has changes. Tri-City pizza has for the longest tiem been, without question the best tasting pizza in the Bangor area; maybe in Maine. However, something has changed. I thought the last time that I got my favorite pizza that it might be a fluke or I had a touch of a cold but again today and somehting has changed. What ever it is I don’t like ..please change it back
Best thin crust pizza — ever!. If you like thin crust pizza, this is the place to get it. It’s been my favorite pizza place for over 25 years!
Often rated one of the best pizza places in town. Limited menu, take out only. Consistently very tasty thin crust pizza. This is one of Bangor’s oldest and favorite pizza joints!
