Old fashion restaurant with classic sea-fare. The meals were quality but I wasn’t much for the ambiance of the restaurant. Seemed to cater to a distinguished crowd. With that being said, the clam chowder was delicious and the muscles and linguini were outstanding. A+ for food C+ for ambiance
Love the food there, one of my favorite restaurants around here. I live in Freeport. I love the blueberry salmon, absolutely delicious! Could change from these plastic fake candles to real candles though! Used to be real candles and don’t understand what happened!
This place was well managed, extremely friendly, clean, and had delicious food to top it all off. It is a bit pricey, but the quality of food was superb.The clam chowder was phenomenal (better than all the places we’ve been in Portland and Bar Harbor). I personally didn’t have any of the seafood entrees, but 5 people in my party did and were extremely satisfied. I had the sweet Italian sausage with pasta salad and was in heaven.Overall, well worth the money and a very pleasant way to spend a meal.
We had a light lunch and bottle of wine and came back for dinner because they stayed open till 10:00 when everything else closed at 8pm. It was a great experience the food and atmosphere was 1st class! Recommend you make dinner reservation I give it a 9 out of 10 only because I believe no one is perfect.
Took us on a Sunday night w/o a reservation super friendly & pleasant. We sat outside with our dog (a well behaved yellow lab) and they brought her a bowl of water! Summer ravioli was light but very flavorful, as was the cioppino which could be ordered mild, medium or very spicy. Outstanding service, casual vibe, and seriously delicious food w/varied seafood and italian entres. Would highly recommend.
Good scampi, tiny shrimp, $2 per meatball for a tiny meatball for kids. Portions are small and dinner pricey. Good if you’re on a diet, you can’t overeat.
Excellent italian food…….. We dined outside on warm Sunday night and it was very pleasant and quiet. The server was very helpful and cheery. Bread was excellent. The salmon with blueberry was superb. The cioppino was a huge portion-excellent Haddock and clams. The lobster in it was wonderful; juicy, meaty and tender. The wine list was excellent and fairly priced.
