Best Chinese Restaurant in the Portland area. Fresh food and friendly service. The House Pad Thai is what my husband orders every time. I switch up my order and have enjoyed it all.
My wife, Daughter and I visited on 8/25/17. This was the worst experience we have had. The waitress was new, did not know the menu, was overly eager and had to come back three times as she did not give enough time to make a decision. The food was at best warm and worst had cold pieces in it. Lacked flavor my pad tai was one big blob of sticky noodles…not sure if we will be back

Loved it. We stopped here on the way to nh last summer and we have been wishing we lived closer ever since. service was great and the food was delicious. we were so happy to find this place, as we had been on the road for a few hours and getting really hungry, just jumped off the interstate and drove in on a whim, one of our better choices while travelling.
Sumptuous Dinner. My family and I came to this area for vacation and were looking for a restaurant near our hotel. When asking the front desk, she suggested Chia Sen and we couldn’t be happier. The server suggested a number of dishes and were not disappointed by his picks. We had Golden Crispy Shrimp, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon. My daughter was excited to see cheesecake on the menu and I loved the draft Sapporo.
Oh yeah. The ice cream it took so long to get had freezer burn all over it. Looked like it hasn’t been opened in 6 months. But apparently i have to pay extra for that. Stills waiting for them to take my card as I’ve been writing these reviews.05 Nov, 2012What a joke. Horrific service. Only told me what I can’t have. Took 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and there were only two other tables eating. Food was below average Chinese food. Took an act of congress to get a scoop of ice cream for my kids. Two bright spots… No MSG and crab ran goons are good. But not worth it even for the crab rangoons. I can’t believe this place has been open for so long. I don’t think i saw one smile the whole time I was here. Don’t come.
Great Food. Traveled to Portland for business and had no idea where I would grab a meal. Took a chance and was suprised that this was not a typical Chinese restaurant with the standard menu choices. As an Asian that has traveled all over and sampled chinese food in NY, San Fran, etc, the food was quite good. I had scallion pancakes, fried dumplings, and the pepper beef. Despite gaining 10 lbs, I will definitely go again if traveling to Portland.
