First time at this chain BBQ place. Food was really good and SUPER fast service. Everything was cooked perfectly. I had the Beef Brisket and Chopped pork with sides of BBQ beans and fries, everything was great. The fries were nice lightly crisped wedges.
Cheese burger perfection! Nice to know they it is not just a good BBQ place.
Left on the warmer too long!. Stopped in next to Cabela’s on a recent Saturday night. Were seated right away even though we had a party of 6. The service was great; friendly, fast and helpful. That’s where the accolades end! The food didn’t take long to arrive, but when it did about the best I could say was it didn’t take long to arrive. Everything was overcooked, the ribs were little more than bones and dry tough skin coated with overcooked seasoning. The burgers were well beyond medium well, inching close to crunchy, the hot sausages were even dry all the way through. The one thing that should have been crunchy, the corn on the cob, was also overcooked and mushy.For the $150+ tab, we were terribly disappointed. I can’t imagine going back.
Famous Dave’s – not known for service. Famous Dave’s Scarborough, ME should be infamous Dave’s!! Great barbeque, Good portion sizes. Down right horrible service. Totally an unsatisfying experience. Kitchen could not support single orders for either of the two different steak entrees on the menu. In addition, macaroni & cheese for the kid’s meal was scrubbed about 20 minutes after the order had been placed.Coupled with a 70+ minute wait to see our meals and cold food when it finally came, made for a culinary disaster. While the comped deserts were a nice move by the manager it was negated by erroneous charges on the bill for portions not served.( They remembered to charge but did not serve our coffee). Eventually the entire bill, less drinks, was comped without an explanation or apology. This was the first time in over 50 years of eating out that I have found it necessary to complain to management. Totally an unsatisfying experience.
Good BBQ. Best BBQ place i have ever been! just a really cool restaraunt with really good food!
We tried the sampler, good stuff. Good food and reasonable prices. 5 selections of BBQ sauce. Great happy hour deals at the bar. For corperate BBQ, it’s worth the price. A little noisy for me, but tolerable.
