This is the same place that used to be called Moose Crossing. A bar on 1 side, a more formal dining area on the left. We opted for the dining side, which was considerably quieter. Positives: Service was very good. The place is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of parking. We had a party of 4 and sat at a booth. The menu was surprisingly small, not many choices for main entre. They do offer appetizers, salads, and desserts too. I tried a cup of haddock chowder, it was OK but not great. 3 of us ordered the lamb as main entre and my mother ordered a hangar steak. The lamb was delicious, but there were hardly any potatoes or vegetables. My mother’s steak was good (I tried a piece), but the broccoli was not thoroughly cooked. The stalks were hard as a rock and not edible. Each entre is around $22 – $24, so it’s not cheap. We all felt they could do better on the pricing, and certainly do better with the sides that are included. We also were disappointed that you have to pay extra for a side salad – for that much money a small side salad should be free and come with the main meal. So none of us ordered salad, but we all wanted some. We did order desserts, these were pricey too but admit delicious. I had some kind of a bourbon cheesecake. My aunt had the lavender custard. They do provideinteresting bread bites with herb butter before the meal. The bread was good. We also tried their fried sweet potato fries, and these were also good. Overall rating – I have to go lower. Pricing needs to be better, and they need to improve the quantity and quality of the sides to main entrees. Offering small salads with the main entrees would help.

Not good. I’ve been here one time. I will not be returning. The fish chowder was bland and tasteless. The food overall was not very good. I was disappointed and won’t be returning.
