Meh – you have to have grown up in Falmouth to appreciate this place. Total local joint. I like the ‘hole in the wall’ places but this one I can do without. Fries are hand cut and tasty but the burgers and dogs are totally overrated.
WHERE’S THE BEEF!. Don’t understand the hype..went for the first time today and could of got a better burger off the dollar menu at McDonald’s, a double at that.Patty was paper thin with no flavor what so ever all I could taste was a mushy steamed wonder roll with mustard n onion..wish I knew I could of posted a picture of it and wouldn’t have thrown it out the window on my way home.. Elevation Burger for sure folks if you’re looking for a good burger!
Always loved their burgers but will not go there now because they’re blaming slower, tough economy on our current president. Keep ignorant political views out of your restaurant or expect to lose business.
Burger. Not a lot of young people eating at Harmon’s these days. possible reason for decline in hamburgers sold, contrary to sign.
Don’t forget the hot dogs!. While everyone raves about the burgers, for me Harmon’s is all about the dogs. The New England style, top-split bun, buttered and grilled on the sides cradle a split, grilled, all-beef dog. There is only one way to order it, and that’s loaded. The divine grilled onions, and unique red sweet relish are the perfect compliment.
Tasty Burgers.. Harmon’s is an institution since 1960 that makes it worth the drive from Portland. The burgers are great: They are lunch counter patties par excellence, sizzled on a seasoned old griddle and sandwiched inside soft Portland-bakery buns that are buttered and heated just enough that they become ultra tender mitts perfect for hamburger-holding.Among the options you do have when you order a hamburger is a slice of cheese melted on top and, better yet, grilled onions. The onions are fried until melting soft, and they add sweet, smoky luxury to the little package.Greasy tasty goodness!
Harmons lunch is possibly the best hamburger joint in New England let alone Maine. The small burgers are juicy and delicious topped with a bun splashed with butter. They are a great lunch at a low price. If you go to Maine you have to grab a hamburger at Harmons Lunch in Falmouth
