LL Bean maybe the crown jewel of Freeport Maine, but the Highlight of the day was lunch at the Jameson Tavern. The Jameson Tavern is in an old building with authentic wood floors and fixtures. Love the little lobster greeter you at the door.The food is amazing. Besides lobster rolls, they have crab rolls, scallop rolls, shrimp rolls, even clam rolls. The scallop salad was overflowing with scallops. The salad dressing went perfect with the scallops, tomatoes, spinach & avocado. The asparagus that came with the easy lobster dish was exceptional. I had a delicious crab melt sandwich with tasty coleslaw.It all went well with Black and Tan draft beer & cosmopolitan. If you go to Freeport, ME and like tasty & succulent seafood, then you have to try the Jameson Tavern.
