Good food, one small oddity…. Had a good dinner here.Would certainly go back again. The only mis-step was that the waitress looked at us like we had two heads when we asked for pita with our hummus.
Skip it. A couple of ok items, poor service, gyro was terrible, drinks over sold under good, sides like hotel food… Skip this don’t waste your money….way over priced for the quality.
It was like a new fusion place between Mediterranean and crappy. My wife and I just wanted a light dinner so we each had a cup of the lamb/veggie soup and split falafel and hummus. Everything, except the pita bread we had to request after the hummus didn’t come with anything, was flat bad. The soup was pureed and was just poorly flavored gruel. The hummus tasted like nothing and was worse than what I can yet at the grocery store. The falafel was the worst part. First, there were only five, coming in at more than a dollar each and smaller than a ping pong ball. They were nicely cooked on the outside and raw in the middle. Gross. It wasn’t worth trying to send anything back because we ordered the most basic things and they were horrible. The presentation, wait staff, timing, etc were all quite good but it the actual food we got was gross. It was sad because it seems like it was a good effort from them and this is what they came up with.
Fresh appetizer plate with 2 servings of salad and some Pita made a perfect light lunch for 3 ladies shopping
WOW. Wow, I was extremely impressed with this restaurant. I had the beef shish and it was excellent! The baklava was the best I’ve ever had, and the owner was charming:) We’ll definitely return!
This little Turkish place is wonderful. The homemade diner kebab was a treat to eat. If you happen to be in downtown Freeport, try to get to this restaurant
One of Freeport’s best!. Two brothers own and run this wonderful treat of a restaurant, bringing delightful ethnic offerings to this tourist town. Worth every penny as each dish is made from scratch in small batches as evidenced by some of the more popular items sometimes selling out! Do not miss this chance!
