Nice option near the airport & mall. Had a selection of maki rolls, and my friend tried the tofu bento box. Salmon was fresh, and shiitake rolls were a nice surprise. Fried tofu in the bento box was very tasty. These were lunch specials, and for generous portions seemed reasonably priced. Setting was modest but attractive, in an unusual strip mall of octagonal buildings. No complaints on service. I’d say Nara is a nice option tucked away by the airport, on par with downtown spots.

Sad.. I feel bad for the people who think its the best sushi they ever had. I ordered the rock n roll and it was nothing but rice and condiments. The actual fish inside the roll was about the width of the chopstick, pathetic. Tasted fishy…not fresh.

Average at best. Maki rolls were mostly rice and the tiniest sliver of fish/filling I have ever seen. Avocado salad was tasty but $5 for what amounted to 1/3 of a avocado was a little steep. From a huge sushi eater I would rate Nara 5/10.

We were very impressed with Nara! Sushi: perfect, very fresh, delicious. Two peices come with an order for a very reasonable price. We shared an Alligator roll, 8 pieces of eel, avocado & shrimp tempura, so good! Dinners were a good portion size, tonkatsu was very tender, unadon was great. Service was very pleasant- he server checked in enough but not too much, and was very polite. Overall a very traditional feeling experience with great food. Six thumbs up!

Amazing!. Simply the freshest and best sushi in the area. The waitstaff is always very nice and they bring out a wonderful little selection of treats with your miso soup. The sushi deluxe is fantastic and flavorful and the portions are just right. I have been eating here for about 5 years and love it.

Best Sushi In Portland Maine. Believe the hype. This is hands down the freshest and best Sushi in Portland Maine. I live in the area and have been to every sushi restaurant in Portland and beyond. These folks do it right. I promise you won’t be disappointed

Kopdol Bimbim Bap!!! W extra egg. So so tasty. Comes in a steaming hot stone bowl that keeps cooking and crisping the rice! Great for a cold winter night. Sushi is par at best but the Korean makes up for it without a doubt
