Rustler’s formerly was Charlie Biegg’s, which was a fairly decent restaurant. Now under a new name and managed by different people Windham has a venue that has many similarities to Biegg’s. However, there is a caveat about dining in Windham asserted by someone like me who had lived in the town for many years. Windham’s restaurants are all unremarkable, bland, sterile and devoid of any risk in terms of aesthetic and menu, which is why I almost always go to Portland for dinner. Rustler’s does just fine catering to its demographic, which is a known commodity. Their menu is American and average. Their food is decent yet just not my cup of tea. Windham needs an extraordinary restaurant; it’s not Rustler’s and sadly, in my mind, remains a mythical venue that may never exist.

Had a tasty dinner at the bar side. Plenty of selection, quality fare, and the waitstaff are lively.Cajun fries have a great kick.Their wings are a very desirable consistency. The flavor selection is surprisingly plentiful.Enjoyed the well lit atmosphere and decor. Surprising find for an area of chain stores.Good spot!

Great dinner tonight. This is my second visit here. The service was fast. The food was great! I had the stuffed scallops with baked potato, starchy veggies and a small side salad. They accommodated a dairy free request with a soy base butter. Wow! The cost was very reasonable. We spend $50 for two dinners and drinks. I have two suggestions: 1) Take reservations online. 2) Don’t offer two types of veggie starches. Just balance the meal with a good veggie and a good starch.

Nothing special here. Just your typical overpriced steakhouse restaurant with absolutely nothing special

OK Steakhouse. The service at Rustlers was friendly and prompt. The food, sadly, was average. The atmosphere was very casual. The steaks were cooked to our requested temperature, but were a little over seasoned. The vegetables were not fresh. My prime rib supposedly came with a potato side, but I was up charged for steak fries? I would go back, but I would not plan an evening around going.

Friendly waitstaff but the food was not worth the price. My husband and I both had the delmonico and were not impressed. Tasted bland and watery like it was microwaved. Will not go back.

Awesome food and great staff. I was seated instantly and had my drinks and appetizer ordered in minutes. Didn’t take long for the appetizer to come out. Their steak is super tender and their pasta dishes are also great. The portions were pretty big too. I had no room for desert, but they did look good judging by surrounding tables. Deffinately would go back soon
