Blah. You’d think that, after at least 30 visits to SG, the staff would recognize you or at the very least be friendly. But we have been forgiving of the poor service for the last time. The atmosphere was nice for a quick coffee, but this place would be quickly out of business if any other decent breakfast/coffee option was nearby. The menu has not changed since it opened — no specials, just the same boring choices and tired uncovered baked goods. We’ve been there in the summer when 10+ customers were in line, but the owner chatted away with his friends outside; several of the people left out of frustration. The overriding feeling is one of lackadaisical management which leads to indifferent staff.
Top Notch coffee shop. Haven’t had a bad cup of coffee or tea yet. Have been there well over 50 times and still the best around. Food is amazing. Try the cinnamon roll. Service is very friendly. They even know my order now.
