Great food and atmosphere. My family and I enjoyed the food and service for dinner. Pizza, brick chicken, salads all were excellent. Gluten-free friendly is a huge plus.
Very nice place. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, the staff was very nice. I think it’s definitely worth the price.
Ridiculously good! Great value for money. Lobster Mac and pizzas were great! Can’t wait to see this place crush the horrible Bean place down the street!
We stopped there on a whim and can’t say enough good things about the two pizzas we tried (the mushroom and the fennel sausage). Truly delicious! Haven’t tried the calamari yet, but since it’s the same recipe as that at the Royal River Grill (same owners) we know it’s excellent. Our server (Amanda) was knowledgeable and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Our hope is that Tuscan Brick Oven Bistro enjoys a long, successful stay in Freeport!
This is the, I think, 3rd restaurant to go into this space in the last 5 years. That made me a little uneasy in trying it. The young lady at Olympia said it was good, so we tried it.Outside, we could smell the wood in the pizza oven and that brought us in.The decor is very cool with old barn board walls and nice, low lighting.The menu was plentiful without being too much. The six selections if pizza covered all the bases.Our server was very sweet and paid attention to us without being too rushed or micromanaging. I have to admit I like the European theory of being a waiter.Our fig and prosciutto appetizer was tasty and succulent.The two pizzas we had were very flavorful had a great sauce. It was nice to see the place full when we left. We would highly recommend this place to both locals and tourists.
MMMMMM-GOOOOD!!!. This is a new place in Freeport and we have already been twice!!! I love the atmosphere and the food – OMG People!!!! They serve local Maine foods and they have only been open for a few weeks and they are always looking to improve and customers come first!!! We just went in one night and sat in their lounge and had calamari…..OMG again!!!! The servers are great, the food is wonderful – OOOHH!!! Dessert! I tried their flourless chocolate cake….yup, you guessed it – OMG GOOOOOD!!!! It’s a great place to relax, try their local Maine beers, yeah I did – again mmmmmm!!! This has become one of my favorite places to eat!!! Ok, prices, yeah, it may seem a little high to some, but I don’t feel it is. I have been to other restaurants for the same prices and was not happy for what I paid. They are similar inline, price wise with other surrounding Freeport restaurants – so really, as far as pricing – no complaints here!!!! IT’S WORTH IT!!!!!! :))))))))))))
Newly opened & a block North of LL Bean in Freeport. A nice space, a Cabernet much better than most for their house wine and, most importantly, quality food at a fair price. The breads are artisan and very, very good and served with olive oil for dipping. The pizzas are personal size and very well presented and the pasta ragu was very flavorful. Service was prompt. Would definitely eat there again.
