They have the best italians around, the bread is always super fresh. They also have the yummiest calzones. This is one of my go-to spots for lunch. They’ve recently done some remodeling and updated their equipment, and I feel things are even better. Highly recommended.
If any place is a staple general store in a town this is it. I remember coming here when I was a kid back in the mid 70’s when it was more of a Country General Store to get penny candy. Yeah remember that! 40 years later the market part has slimmed down a bit but now I go for their Italian Sandwiches (Hoagie, Sub). Fresh chewy bread, salami, lots of olives, get it anyway you like. This is my favorite place to get lunch. I’m going with a 4.0 rating because the only and I mean ONLY thing I find lacking is the olives. I wish they had good kalamata olives for my Italian. That would just do it for me. Great staff to boot. Always a happy place.
What makes this place special are the young folks that work there. Very kind, mature, and thoughtful. The sandwiches are great and the pizza reminds me of H.S. pizza in the cafeteria. Prices are to be expected high but most things are not. So a 4.5 out of 5 is what I will give as a rating. Thanks for being there ya’ll!
Solid pizza. They are know for their sandwiches, but we usually turn to them first for pizza. You can’t go wrong. Kinda funny weekend hours in the summer, so call ahead.
