Best place for breakfast!. My husband and I go here for breakfast any chance we get. The service is nice ,the food is wonderful and always consistent. Your coffee cup will never go dry, and your breakfast will come to you quickly. I promise you, you will not leave Martha’s hungry.24 Feb, 2012Fantastic as always. I moved back to the area in March of 2011, and was happy to see Martha’s there. I was in Florida and spoiled by great food, which has been VERY hard to find in Ellsworth, but Martha’s is a true exception. Fresh and homemade are the best 2 words to describe this place. The coffee could stand some improvement, but other than that, the staff, the food, and the hellos from Martha when you walk in the door make you feel at home.
Loved it!. Went to Martha’s for breakfast on the weekend and they were jam packed, people lined up out the door waiting for a seat. We were third in line, but we didn’t wait any longer than 7 minutes to get our table. Our waitress was bubbly and wonderful, the staff in general was fantastic, and the food was absolutely phenominal. the blueberry stuffed pancakes i had were to die for. definitely a great place to go if you’re running through town.
Good solid breakfast! Great ambience with cute decor! I wish I could come again!
Great find in Mid-Maine. We were referred to Martha’s by the local tourist info centre. Had a wonderful, falling out of the roll, crab roll that was so big we almosty didn’t eat it all, but weren’t going to let it go to waste. To top that off, Martha had made a wonderful blueberry pie which we shared with homemade ice cream. Great service, great food and great luck to find such a place on the run.SnarlWe returned to Martha’s in August, 2013. Being creatures of habit, we had the crab roll and the blueberry pie ala mode. It was even better than the first visit. Can’t wait until the summer of 2014.SNARL
Greatest Breakfast Place!. Martha’s is by far our favorite spot for breakfast. The food is always excellent, and the service is generally very good as well. I recommend sitting at a table, service is better there than at the counter. Great prices, great food!
By far the best breakfast that we have had in Maine. Much superior to Riverside in Ellsworth. Recommend Pete’s potatoes, diced ham & eggs, corned beef hash omlette, biscuit, homemade bread. (hash browns are inside the omlette). Did not like asparagus omlette – asparagus was too large, tough, overwhelmed the omlette.
This place is wonderful! The eggs actually have flavor and you can have homemade bread for your toast. The staff is friendly and efficient. Nice diner atmosphere and the food came quickly. Yum!
