Has become mediocre. I really loved this place the first several years it was open, but they have been sliding by on their past reputation for a long time. Not a place I ever suggest anymore.
Miss It. I no longer eat this type of food but my wife loves it. We frequented this place when we lived in Augusta, tasty. If I eat it again it will be here.
Not a huge selection in the buffet, but they have the usual favorites and what they do have is absolutely splendid. The service is amazing and the decor and views are gorgeous.
Best Chinese in the area. We have eaten at several different Chinese restaurants in the Central Maine area but the Lucky Garden restaurant in Hallowell Maine is the best. The food is always made fresh and you can taste the difference! The buffet may be small, but the food is delicious. We always feel welcome and the staff is quick to serve you. Take the time to stop and eat next time you are in lovely Hollowell Maine.
Awesome food, service, setting and view
Great chinese food. Excellent food. The buffet is small but very tasty and fresh. F irst chinese restaurant I’ve seen that has lamb on the menu. Try the lamb in garlic sauce. You have to ask for soup as it is not setting in the buffet. Hot and sour some of the best.
Exceptional service! The food was fresh and not greasy. It was truly worth the trip off 95. The bathroom was decent. Lovely view of the river. They have a parking lot! Enjoy!
