There was a time when this was one of my family’s favorite sub shops. For the past decade we affectionately refer to it as the ‘Giant Breadstick’. That said, the flavor is good and the price is right, so if you know how to order (double pepperoni, cheese with extra pickles or double steak & cheese) you’ll still have a great sub at a reasonable price. We still eat here several times a year and wouldn’t want to stop. If you like a lot of filling, order double meat.

Overpriced. The cheesesteaks were overpriced, but the flavor was okay. Not quite a Philly Cheesesteak, but will do in a pinch. The people were friendly, but the atmosphere lacked. Not sure I’ll return…just not worth the money.
Giant bread, not giant sub. I ordered a large capicola and provolone sub. I got 5 slices of cap and 1.5 slices of provolone. The bread looked like a giant New England style hot dog roll. The older lady with all the gold bling who took the order read the order back to me three times and still didn’t get the order, nor make it correctly. Half a leaf of lettuce was ripped straight from an unwashed, freshly unwrapped-out-of grocery cellophane packaging and sparingly hand shredded onto the sandwich. Oil and vinegar were asked for and barely drizzled on. She held the salt and pepper shakers above the sandwich, but I don’t think she sprinkled any out.I though this might have been a great local find, something that could stand with all the chain restaurants around it. It is not. It is way overpriced. You would be better getting a sandwich across the street at the On The Run at the Mobil gas station.
Older-style Sub Shop. This is no chain and it takes a while to get your sandwich but they’re really pretty good – and FAR better than the commercialized chains down the street. Family owned, it’s a dying breed and will be missed when it’s gone. Give it a try.
