Good, but……. The BBQ (pulled pork) plate was very good as was the chicken sandwich. We enjoyed the cole slaw & beans, too. BUT…. don’t order pie – go to the nearest store and purchase a frozen pie & bake. You can buy an entire pie for what they charge for one slice! Seriously Mrs. Smith makes a better pie.

Who would’a thought you’d find great pulled pork way up in Maine! Some of the best I’ve ever had. Reminded me of Kaluha Pork in Hawaii.

At best, the dishes were ok. I ordered the pulled pork dinner, which came with some sides. The BBQ sauce at the table was good. The pulled pork was too mushy and bland, even with sauce. The corn bread that came with it was a jalapeo cornbread, but they must have used pickled jarred jalepenos to make it, because it was both hot, doughy, and sour. If you’re going to offer cornbread, give me real corn bread made from corn meal. A lot of the other sides were made with pickles, which to me was unusual, but I’m not from Maine or the Northeast, so maybe it’s a regional thing? In short, if you’ve had good, real barbecue in the past, skip this place, as it’s mediocre at best.

Great Flavor Hot Sausage w…. Great FlavorHot Sausage was great & my wife loved the Pulled Pork. Their choice of sauces at the table was weak, Franks HS or barbecue. The service was average.
