We were out touring Maine when my partner decided he wanted BBQ. We found this shed behind a brewery and went inside. It looks like a metal shed but has been decorated and is really a cute, rustic place. The menu includes ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage. Sides are potato salad, baked beans or chips. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a sampler platter containing all the meats and potato salad with the baked beans.Portions are giant and we could not finish our plates. All the meat was very tender but to our Texas palettes very bland, even after adding the sweet and spicy BBQ sauce sitting at every table.Service was friendly and accommodating. Prices are reasonable too. Our two plates plus a locally-brewed IPA and a soda were $33.55 before tip.
Stopped here for breakfast. Husband had the biscuits and gravy, which my husband said was the best he has had in any restaurant. I had the 2 egg with meat breakfast that came with 2 scrambled eggs, three slices of bacon, grits and a biscuit. All of it was very good! We will definitely be back!
