A great place for seafood… You can hand pick your lobster and enjoy it while sitting at a picnic table on the dock next to the creek. No worries about making a mess with shells and melted butter.
Go There.. Go there. Don’t think about it, just go there.
The perfect lobster spot. It doesn’t get better or purer than this. Picnic tables by the dock, fresh as fresh can be, cheerful staff, beautiful setting… After 12 years in New England trying lobster shacks up and down the coast, this place just became my #1 favorite spot.
Lobster Heaven. This restaurant is legendary, and probably doesn’t need my recommendation. The lobsters are fresh, properly cooked, and served by wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Best time to go is a weekday – Saturdays you will wait, and probably not find a place to park. For the real Maine lobster shack experience – this is a must do.
I was told the lobster was from Maine~. I had made all my drops around Boston and MA points north of, then deadheaded up to Maine for 8 big paper rolls to deliver in Chicago. I stopped in Kittery before leaving.They threw my lobster in a pot of boiling water before I could check it’s I.D. but I was assured that I was going to enjoy an Authentic Maine lobster, in the great state of Maine itself!
