Beautiful and Professional. I was lucky enough to stumble over this place recently.The entire experience was wonderful. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted and spoke to as if the workers knew us. They made us feel very welcomed and at home. The cook/chef smiled and waved, bartender was pleasant and professional and the servers were delightful. The food was excellent, so fresh tasting! The meal was paced well from appetizer, to entree, to dessert. I had modifications that I requested and Chef Suzanne was happy and eager to create my dish! Wow, talk about service! My son and I will be passing the word along for sure! Don’t miss your chance to try Misto! What a beautiful European bistro! Best of luck to you all! 🙂
Great new find, service second to none.. We stopped at Misto on our way home from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Portland, Maine after hearing a few great things from the locals we had spoken to that day. When we walked through the front door we were immediately greeted by the staff, both the employees behind the caf counter and the host with menus in hand. My husband and I sat at the bar for an early dinner. I ordered the Four Cheese Ravioli and my husband the Italian Dinner. The chef/owner seemed very engaged in every aspect of our experience from not only cooking our meals but even greeting us toward the end of our visit. The bartender was friendly and not too overbearing as some can be. We were able to enjoy our dinner in an ambient atmosphere, with very polite staff who also make good company. When our dinner arrived we could not have been more pleased with the quality and taste. The ravioli was cooked perfectly, and the special white sauce I ordered it with was second to none. My husband was more than pleased with the Italian Dinner. The turkey meatballs were something you can’t find in any ordinary restaurant, and the sauce was true homemade Italian tomato sauce, one I feel you’ll only get to taste once you’ve been to Misto. For dessert, we split a crme brulee. Noticeably made from scratch, it was the best one I’ve ever had, and I don’t exaggerate often! Thank you to Suzanne, Kyle and Oliver for such a great dining experience. We will be recommending you to friends in the area, and we will be back when we travel down south.
