Thin crust pizza with an Ok sauce. I thought the add on (i.e. Veggies, pepperoni, sausage, etc) were expensive. Not enough sauce on the pizza. Glad we tried it but probably won’t be coming back.
I really enjoyed this place, recomend sticking to pizzas, they are fresh n sooo yummie& all looked fantastic!! Ordered muscles, they were not so good- underdone & sauce was overpowering w/ garlic& wine. Wings were pretty good & different. Great service even while super busy & got a beautiful bread to take home for free!

Flavorful and surprising. This review is actually for the brick oven pizzeria that is attached to the bakery store. I was blown away by the flavorful sandwiches, salads and pizzas. We’ve visited twice now for lunch. The beer on tap list is extensive and the sandwich menu changes from visit to visit. They feature home made cold cuts, their bakery bread and some very interesting spins on the classic. My husband says their Italian sandwich with their WPF Mortardella & WPF Capacolla is THE BEST sandwich he has ever eaten. For a meal for two I recommend ordering a pie and a sandwich or a salad and sandwich and splitting them, YUM!
Remarkable Bread. The Portland Dine Around brought us into When Pigs Fly Bakery, but it’s the bread that keeps us coming back. How wonderful it is to walk into the store and see the large wooden tables covered with loads of aromatic fresh baked bread. There are so many different varieties and every one is superb. My favorite is the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Swirl with a close second being the Rosemary and Roasted Garlic. Other favorites are the Multi Grain Anadama and the Sourdough. All of the bread I have tried is excellent and I always try a few samples in the store. Other wonderful things about When Pigs Fly are the cookies! So yummy, so big and quickly eaten! Highly recommended for the bread, the cookies and the experience.
