Great place. Fully authentic Thai and I’m quite sure the best place in Maine. I’m a New Yorker and I love Thai! We had excellent spring rolls, crispy wonton to dream about, an excellent larbkaghai and beautiful scallops Massaman. Very very good. They also have tables in a charming outdoor garden with a peach tree!
Aptly Named. Best Thai it is, certainly in the Mid-coast, and likely in Maine. The steamed dumplings are perfect with an excellent soy based dipping sauce. The curry dishes are smooth and velvety and filled with fresh vegetables and your meat of choice. While nothing we’ve had was in any way sub-par, I can’t get anything but the Spicy Duck! Crispy duck breast perfectly sauced with bell pepper, thai basil, onions and mushrooms. The only minor complaint I can muster is that even a 5 stars, I could stand a little more heat, but the flavor is great so most wouldn’t see this as a detractor of any sort.5/29/13 Still the Best. The Siam Duck special is perfect, where before I had to choose between the spicy duck or chicken curry.
Best Thai it is…. I have a friend who lives in Thailand half the year and married a Thai woman. He said this is the only Thai restaurant in Maine that he would recommend…food is excellent and staff is helpful. We have had lunch there 6 or more times and dinner twice…its a little off the main street in Damariscotta, behind the Salt Bay cafe…but give it a try. I really recommend the vegetable tempura for an appetizer…
Very good Thai and staff are very nice. We had mango fried rice, Tom Kha soup.
